EFIN Access

EFIN

An Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) is a number issued by the IRS to
individuals or firms that have been approved as authorized IRS e-file providers. It is
included with all electronic return data transmitted to the IRS. 1040Team provides access
to our EFIN by allowing you to prepare the taxes yourself and transmitting the return to
1040Team for review and the return is then transmitted to the Central Site using our
EFIN and you will still be able to keep 90% of your fees. This is optional as you can
always use your own EFIN and retain 100% of your fees.

You must have an EFIN in order to assist and/or prepare taxes on any level.
